Is Install Guy Retarded?, Part 2

i got 16" high. i just dont think i can slide a 30"+ long box in without the trunk latch area holding me up.
but i'll deal with that when it gets closer
Yeah that will be the hard part. What your gonna have to do is sacrifice with the positioning of the woofers and drop the height to about 12-13". You can go about 37 wide though too.

My box for my XXX is 14.25h x 25d x 30w and after disp comes to about 3.6cube iirc, but it has a slanted face.

Ive got a little trick for finding out if it will slide in though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Do you not understand the concept of TIME? Time costs money, it's called labor charge.
$150 to BUILD a small ported enclosure is a good price. You realize someone is building to YOUR specifications, for YOUR vehicle, and they more than likely have better skill than YOU, knowledge counts, experience counts. (Disclaimer, by "you" I mean the average consumer that walks into a shop looking for an enclosure to be built for them.) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I mean shit, Say you have 4hours into design, cutting, building, finishing, and carpeting the enclosure, $50 in materials. That only leaves the labor at $25/hour. Now, you're an installer and you get 50% commission on that and the rest goes to the shop.

$12.50/hour ain't much for custom labor.

People on this site who complain and have NEVER worked in the 12v industry are r-tards...

You NAILED it.

I charge $125 for a single 12" ported box built for the sub/vehicle.

$85 for basic amp/sub install, includes setting gains w/ o-scope.

$39.95 for true 8ga kit w/ mid-level RCA's.

$59.95 for true 4ga. $8.95 for triple shielded 18ft RCA w/ drain wire.

People ***** about it and say they are going to such and such...but they soon find we have the best prices around (not to mention that the other local places build the same box for EVERY sub).

I fix about as many 'buddy' installs as I do anything.

Also, I charged $230 for the 2-12box in my avi.

don't you just hate it when a new guy comes around and tries to fit in and acts like he knows the culture, your style, and how big your dick is?
yes. you know what else i hate? when some pussyhurt faggot troll from the lounge bans your name because he is a sad lonely little fellow. such is the world of ca.com.
