I got one for ya while we are on this topic.

I went to a shop the other day to look at some headunits. Alright I walked in, went to the "Sound Lab" and looked to find me a new headunit.

There was a woman and a dude in this 'sound lab' and were looking for an amp for two Pioneer Premier SPL subs. They were wanting to get the jl 500/1v2. The install guy refuses to let them keep on about the 500/1 and wanted them to get the 250.

I stood there and just stared at him for a second, thinking, "you ****ing retard." I then proceed to ask him how much for this particular headunit I was interested in(pioneer avic d3)

He says just one moment..

Me: standing.............waiting.......

Me:waiting still.................

Installer(after about 10 minutes): Umm we dont even carry that unit atm because so many people have bought them, but it is $1499.

Found it to be bit funny..

lol. i went to my local shop about 10 mins away and the guy working hadn't ever heard of Fi either.

I visited several shops in my area, none of them had heard of Fi, Audiopulse, or TC Sounds. I was planning on asking about DD and Sundown, but I forgot.

However, one did carry RE - so at least that's a plus. And the guys were intelligent at that shop.
