I'm sorry esmokah, I'm just very hesitant to purchase an amp, I make a total of $50 a week that I can spend on whatever, so getting a $250 amp that may blow my subs worries me! I'm trusting that if I set my gains with a multimeter I won't blow my subs. I'm also kinda hesitant because that powerful of an amp may dim my battery. Also I'll contact that guy when I have a bit more cash in my back pocket, thank you!

I didn't mean to be snarky. i guess my patience has been worn too thin today. holiday stress and work stress to the max. If you are going to ask a recommendation, don't second guess the guy you are asking. It's a slap in the face. you can get a second opinion from someone else, but yeah. it's annoying to dish out advice for people asking for it and then get second guessed. A hundred people will give you a hundred different recommendations, based on their experiences/knowledge or ignorance. I like a little bit bigger amp so you can have the gain lower for a cleaner sound. keep bass boost off and set your gains properly, or just a cunny under where there should be. I set up everything to be run @ 80% volume on HU max.

With 1000 watts rms, you shouldn't have trouble with dimming lights. Do the "Big 3" for sure tho. Figure quality wire and rcas into your budget too, if you still need that stuff.
