Need help !

Ok, I need help on deciding what subs to get. My buddy has two top of the line Memphis 12's (pr's i believe) but i need something that hits harder. He has them in an atrend box (ported) running on a 350 watt amp. i was looking at the kicker l3 15's in a 6 cubic feet ported box running off a kicker 750 watt amp. Or two rockford fosgate p3 12's in a ported box with whatever amp they need to thump. I'm wanting alot of SPL while keeping some SQ. In other words i don't want horrible sq from square subs. Which ive never actually heard a square sub but everyone online says they sound like s***. I'm not trying to break the bank either. About $700 for everything is my max. (subs, box.and .amp) I already have a boss phantom 1500 watt amp btw. Just tell me what you think would kill these subs and possibly a link. I need something to blow his out of the water.

I'm also in high school so I really need something loud. *** long as the subs don't clip easily (the l3's) then id like to know if they're worth buying.I need something that thumps and doesn't clip. Sq doesn't really matter. Just no clipping or completely ****** sound !

subs dont clip ,amps do .also i'm having a black friday sale now .2 american bass xfl 12's 185 each and a ab vfl 4480 for 320 ,but you still need a box,but you can build one fore $50
