Iphone jailbreak problem

I just tried to jailbreak my wifes 3gs with redsnow, and i went through the program everything was fine until it tried to reboot. The iphone just went blank and never came back. I tried to restart it and turn it off an on. It doesnt do anything. When connected to the computer the computer makes the sounds of something being connected. If i hold the power button the computer makes the sound of it being disconnected. I tried to restore it through itunes and it says there is a internal problem.

Any ideas??

do you have 3.1.3 on it??? pretty sure thats the problem.... also are you tryn to unlock or jailbreak your iphone???
