upholstering (sp) material ??

is anybody aware of any location that sells material that you can use to put over big areas? im looking at putting a different material over my headliner and door panels so the layout will need to be wide. not sure if the word *upholstering* is spelled right tho. looking for a just a black fabric really.

Don't you people have Hancock Frabics where you live? They're all over the place in anywhere i've ever lived down south. All of my headliners ive done have come from hancock.

Well just look and any fabric store in you area. Regardless the name they usually have headliner material. I dont know what the headliner costs but I know there marine grade vinyal is usually mat most $20/yard, so it should be less then that

check the local yellow pages, theres gata be a fabric store near you. Most people use foam backed, but really, you can use anything strong enough to hold. Ive seen foam backed as cheap as 10/yd. Whatever you use, just make sure you dont skimp on adhesive or youll be pulling everything back out next week

i defiantly will be using the 3m spray adhesive can. i am going to be ordering headliner material from autozone. 54" x 106" for $64. i can wrap both door panels with that .

hey man you want head liner at a good price i got 3-4 yards from joann fabrics out by the Schnucks and made rite for like 30 out the door with the 33% discount. then for adhesive hit up an auto parts store

I got all of my material from Joann Fabric. Used it for the headliner and the A, B, and C panels. The 77 spray adhesive works ok for the panels. You have to spray the panel and the fabric. It will not work for the headliner. You will need to use some type of sprayable contact glue as Ramos mentioned above.
