what i would do is make the fiber glass tub then remove it from the car and fill it with water, sand, or whatever and you will be set.

 
thats a good idea to pull the glass shell out , but i was trying to get the sub before i did all that to be a little bit ahead of the game, if you know what i mean.

 
well im almost positive that you will have too much room in that shell and will end up filling it to fit the requirements of the sub(s) anyways, so you should be able to just buy your sub(s) and end up with more room than you need. go to and see what he did about finding the volume of his shell. this is Josh, Mike's brother.
