OK with the help of a buddy that knows what he's doing we got all my stocks replaced and installed and amp conected to the two door speakers. The door speakers are alpine type R 6.5's . Amp is a piece its a pyramid 300watt. Anyways everything works except the tweeters we installed in the doors are makeing a wierd interference sound. And when say my wipers are running the sound changes in tune with the wipers moving. Also accelerating and deccelerating does the same thing. Can fix this by pushing the crossover button on the amp, but then the front speakers dont sound like they are even working. Is my amp just that much a peice or is there another problem?? Everything looks to be installed perfectly so i dont really understand what this could be. Please help. And by the way the infinity plate 4X6's sound great. Type R's sound great too except for i really cant experience their true sound with this annoying tweeter problem. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. Sound like you got a wire pinched or bared. I would go over all your wires and look for anynicks in the sheathing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hmmm seems that is only the driver side tweeter doing this and the passenger side 6.5 isnt even playing.... its all wired up perfectly too. I dunno maybe i should go get an amp.

Check grounds, rcas being to close to power wire, and proper connections.

When you say check the grounds what do you mean by this?? I have the ground wire running from my amp to a hole i drilled in the side of my truck and then screwed. What would i need to check with this and how coud it cause a problem?

Tell you what, try unplugging the rca's from the amp. IS the noise still there with no signal from the h/u ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Make sure your grounding to bare metal. Remove all paint from the ground area. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeh its bare metal i removed all the paint. Ok if the noice isnt there when rca's are unplugged what does that mean. And if the noise is still there when rca's are unplugged what does that mean? Think im gonna go pick up an amp tommorow. They have 500watt sony xplod 4 channel amps at wallmart for 90 bucks. Guessing i can make that 2 channell X 250 watts yes/no?

Hey ramos if the noise is still there when i unplug them what does that mean and if the noise isnt there what would that mean?? Have to go pick up a new fuse today cause i blew it messing around with it the other day hehe.

If it's there when unplugged it means the amp is the source of your noise ( signal from h/u removed via unplugged rca's ) If the noise is gone, then the amp isn't the source of the noise. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That's the idea behind troubleshooting a problem my brother. Trying to narrow down the possibilities. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
