ok, me and my dad were hooking up my system the other day and he got an idea for the battery and it worked! i dunno if anyone ever thought of doing it this way or has it setup like this now... here's the pic

I'm doing a version of that...I have the amp wiring connected at the top, and the upgraded ground goes to the side terminal.

Hi Tek,

The battery Hold Down bracket appears to be putting upward pressure on the cable.I would have run that cable *behind* the bracket.I like to run my cables to the battery terminals straight in.Just my opinion.

I am not saying that you are mean, I am telling the battery setup is "mean". Its just a slang that I use. another example of a slang is "cool", "sick", "Off the hook", "bad".

i use the top and side terminals also. 4 sets of o ga. wires get hooked into the pos terminal and 3 set of 0 ga. in the neg.
