Installed everything today and AMP went into protect...

we opened her up and the fets look fine though. no burn marks, smells, tastes.......
Even if the transistors look good doesn't mean they are still working properly. Makeshiftaudio already told you it's blown, take his work on it, and I'm also going to tell you the exact same thing he did. The DC Bias protection or over current protection is flashing means something is wrong with your output transistors.

yea well i can take that its blown. now i just need to know why, how and how to fix the blown amp
send it out again.

and if this is the second time this has happened (I think u mentioned in ur first post u sent it out originally for some reason) then you really need to check wtf is up with ur wiring. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

if you bought it blown then.... pay no attention to the above post.

maybe the amp repair person didnt do it right? who was it sent to?

sent to audiopipe!!!! they didnt fix it. last time it blew cuz the rcas on HU ground went out sending a HOT signal to the amp thus blowing some transistors. they said they fixed it and charged 25 bucks. sent it back and bam its still no worky. i checked the wiring and im getting a good voltage from fron tot back so wiring is not the problem

LOL.

they charged 25 dollars? thats it?

yea they defntly screwed you.

and i doubt the HU grounds had anything to do with an amp exploding..... correct me if im wrong
ur corrected. SITUATION:::: had HU out of dash kit where i could see it. turned the HU up volume wise and got to about 15 of 35 on kenwood excelon and blue spark flashed on rcas on hu then amp was in protect and wouldnt come out. thats how they went out and blew amp the first time
