im in the middle of the big 3/ installing my system.. i have the alt to positive done(just installed a new h/o alt.) and i need a negative battery terminal to make the ground to the battery bigger (1/0), which i will be getting later today.. however i just installed my mids and tweets along with the amp to drive them and im wondering if it would be ok to run it for alittle bit to set the gains and what not.. i would wait, but im impatient and the stores dont open for another 3 hours at least.. i have the power running to the amps from the battery in 0 gauge if that matters

How much power are you running? I mean, you have 1/0 wire going from your battery to a a couple of speaker amps?

no! dont do it! I would not even drive your car! you will have too much of a possitive charge and not enough of a ground. its like having a bad ground. your battery could explode.
