its out in my car which is in a garage kinda far away right now, i have no idea, i bought it from best buy.

The problem is the sound of the bass, it sounds so dull and crappy and when i go partially loud enough it sounds very choppy in the bass.

What do you mean by that?

I have two Rockford Punchs totaling 300W and my amp is a single channel 300W. My kit said it handles up to 1000W.

you have to wire the subs at the correct load for the amp...this is why i asked earlier

I am no good at this stuff, can you tell me how I am supposed to wire the subs are the correct load..

here is my setup:

On my amp is said left and right and have positive and negative. I hooked the left sub up to the left with + and -. and the right sub up the where it said right (on my amp) + and -.

wire each sub to + and - to get 2ohm load, and then set the gains w/ dmm...this amp puts out less than half what you need

edit: each sub to its own + and -...that amp is a monoblock so it will effectively parallel the subs 4ohm and 4ohm to make 2ohm

other than that idk... i've never used an loc. does it have a level knob on it? the loc i mean

The subs only use 150W each...

There are two things for speakers on my amp, one says right and has + and -. and one says left and has + and -. I hooked one speaker to left and one to right...

I must be doing something wrong..

if he sets gains with a loc, he can set the loc with the meter also
