quick question

so i'm going to get some subs but i can't decide which ones to get,but no matter what i am getting a kicker zx750 amp here are my options:a 15" kicker L5,2 12" kenwood w3011,or just a couple 12" sony x plods. which ones would go best with my amp? thanks for any help

why not 1 12" l7? or cvx? don't get the sony's, of the list i'd get the l5... but i'm partial to kicker...

yeah i like kicker too but i just want something thats going to run about the same rms as the amp maybe a little higher just to make sure i don't blow the sub although i've heard the solobarics are hard to blow

if you set your amp correctly you will not blow the sub

the 12" l7 or cvx will match that amp perfect and get really loud doing it, especially if you put them in a ported box... i've got a zx1000.1 pushing 1 12" cvx with no problems and it gets loud...

:wow:that makes no sense at all. but off the list, i'd second the l5. you can get better to run off that amp, but from what you posted the kicker imo is the better sub.

there is no way we can answer that for you....you have to look at the overall setup including enclosure, and the auto it is going in. everything sounds different in different cars

i've never heard a l5 15" and an l7 or cvx 12" side by side, but my cvx next to two l5 12" was close, mine def sounded cleaner and at least as loud. i've heard single l7 12's that got piss loud, louder than me spl wise and if i hadn't known i'd say it was a 15 or 2 12's... but thats just MY opinion... maybe someone else who has heard both side by side will chime in... me i'd get the l7 or cvx...
