Can I run 1/0 under the carpet?

Every car is different, I dont know what you drive and therefore, what options you have. I ran my 1/0 under my truck. I bought some electrical> tubing conduit at Lowes called carflex, which I ran my 1/0 through for protection. It is 3/4" in diameter. I re-entered my truck in the back of the cab through a matching liguid tight fitting at the entry hole. The required hole needs to be 1". I used a 3/4" bit and rasp to make the hole. I used heavey duty zip ties to secure it under the bottom. If I find something better than the HD zips, then I will go that route. But, you may find a way to run it inside.

After doing it a few times I prefer to run 1/0 under the car. Use some conduit and tie wrap it securely and it's great... I find it easier than jamming 1/0 under the carpet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

under the truck and come up right behind the 2nd row.. its cake..remove plastic by the handle to open the door then remove switch plate.. screw behind switch plate then 2 screws at bottom of door and then lift up on door.. should slide right off.. .as for the radio pull the trim benzel off around the radio.. and 2 bolts under the radio then it should slide right out.. .... ground the for amp a perfect spot is directly under the gas fill tube on the frame rail there is a 3/8 bolt there u can use, u might have to take out the spare to get to it... there ya go .. now go do it... run the power wire down driver side under the truck.. run all ur signal wire down the passenger

if you think you cant fit a 0g under the carpet just run 2 runs of 4g. for that amp i think just one run of 4g would work. while your having stuff done do the big 3.
