Install prices? are you kidding me?

The main dealership in town "Audivisionz" in Mt. Vernon, IL wants 375 to intstall all my stuff in my sig.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif The only thing is, if they install it, I know they would do it right.

"Monsta B Audio" wants 150 even for it. They are the newest audio dealer in town. I'm not sure if they know what they are doing...

I have a couple friends that could probably do it, but I don't want one of them to f*uck it up.

Audiovisions claimed that I had to run the 1/0 underneath the car... Is that true? I planned just putting it under the carpet... Can someone tell me what they think after reading this? Thanks

honestly, i don't see what you're complaining about. you go to work and make money. this is a shop that makes money. seriously this is why the car audio industry is filled with a ton of crap installers and crap products. everyone wants dealer cost and expects these shops to stay open.

local shop wants me to pay 200ish to rta my car. 400 for install isnt that bad considering it would all be done correctly since im assuming you dont know how to yourself

however diy is the way to go

Installs are easy man, just take your time and make sure the connections are hooked up right and you dont cross anything. Run your power wire on the opposite side of the car from the remote/RCA's and than hook it all up. Best way to learn

I don't run 1/0 under my car, i run it inside my car. However, if they do it right then there's no problem in running it under the car.

WHy should they work with you on price at all? Youre just a nobody who walked off the street wanting some stuff installed.

If you think the price is so extreme for the work, the work must not be too bad, right? If its not worth it, then stop complaining, dont make a thread, and go install the stuff.

i charged like 250 for a DVD hu install, and dual amps and batteries. thats labor and he bought everything.

thats a pretty good price for all that stuff to be installed. i know plenty of places that would charge double or more.

do it yourself. its not hard at all. just take your time and do it right

i've never seen a fast food joint not hire someone willing to do the work. someone needs to swallow some pride and get ya hustle on.

sell your w7 and 1000/1 and get something cheaper then. that will cover your install

Then howd you get a 13.5 W7 and a jl 1000.1 ..Or did you spend every last dime you had on them and dont know how to install anything?
