Install on a chevy colorado

Has anyone installed a python 881 on the colorado. If so how do you get the remote start to work. I got everything working but the remote start. When I try to start the truck it turns over and dies. The remote shows that it is started but it is not.

Did you purchase a bypass? did you do a tach learn?

u prolly need a bypass for the factory immobilizer (It cuts off either fuel or spark to the engine in the event of an unauthorized start); i'd recommend the transponder 556U; it's about $20 bucks on ebay.
