alright heres the deal i have a good friend that is real into electronics and he does car alarms, systems, and tint jobs on the side of his real job. well i bought a viper alarm from him that he had removed from a car it worked great for the first couple months but then it stopped working. i only paid 100 for the alarm and for him to install it. i dont know much about alarms and i dont know the model number. it was a pretty basic alarm though keyless entry, alarm, and trunk pop was all it did. all the wires for everything are still there just the "brain" is gone. well he said viper would not warranty it b/c it was a used alarm. so i want to get another one. but i would like a remote start with this one as well, any suggestions on what to do and how much it will cost? he said he could get me another one for 100 and then split the cost with me so i dont think its a bad deal but i want to know some of you guys oppinions.
