I recently installed a pair of Boston FS60 and since then have played with the placement of the tweeters. Now that i have figured it out, i want to install the tweeters flush mount but i have no clue as to how is would go, and the manual does not help me, better said i don't understand how that install will stop it from falling out.

Can anybody help?

This is where the tweeters are going

Thanks in advance

some tweeters screw in for a flush mount. if you are cutting a hole then the tweeter will most likely (if hole is cut correctly) be very snug and cant fall out.

Are there any other opinions, but i drive hard so im not sure if a snug fit is fine. Also if you look at the adapter piece you see that it has one side longer than the other. Any other suggestions?

Thank you lotas and all others that post help

well different tweeters have different mounting options... infinity's... you put the tweeter in the cup... twist it to lock it in... drill a hole the size of the cup and put the cup in the hole... then it has this plastic piece that screws on the cup from behind to keep the tweeter tight on the panel... my aura's had a metal cup... that you put in ur hole u drilled... and pushed some tabs out **similar to a radio cage** and put the tweeter in and twisted it to lock it in

I finally decided where i really want the tweeter to go and went ahead and installed them. I spent the better part of 20 min trying to follow the picture until i realized that i had to run the little metal things in First, then it all made sence.

Never the less i have included a picture so that any body that buys some Boston Acoustics and ever wants to install the tweeters flush mount can do so with this picture and not go through the stress that i did.

Peace
