Install Log***PICS **PICS**PICS**56k NO.

i suggest spending a little more money or RCA's i bought that scosche kit from walmart and after i upgraded the RCAs there was a noticable difference. very cheaply made IMO.

i would have run the red power wire on the back side of the PG amp

and put your grounds somewhere besides the top of the trunk. it looks terrible having wires run like that.

Alright thankz what kind of rcas should i get? i have like no money as it is right now. And i ran the red wire that way so it wouldn't touch the rcas.

they sound great even without my doors deadened and my baffles. i still have to get around to set my gains correctly but there are great speakers, i couldn't be happier since they only cost 90 bucks on ebay

couple of things i noticed.....

The good:

-- I love the look of the tweeters

-- Nice mouting of the speaker

-- Good choice of equipment

The Bad:

--Get Higher Quality RCA's, you can find better shielded ones in the classifieds from time to time. Made a huge difference for me.

--The tile is different but as someone else said, if water gets in... i'll go to your amps (no good)

--Ground could be better.. as mentioned before.

The questionable:

--Not good nor bad but the crossover placement looks..... well its there! I think thats a tacky placement for it but whatever floats your boat. I am more a fan of a stealth install....i know it's not everyone's preference.

alright dude.

take the grounds off the amps, run them under the false floor like you did for your power wire, and up the inside of the wheel well area toward where the C pillar meets the rear deck. there is something called a strut tower there. basically its a very strong and reinforced frame type area. its a structural support for the rear suspension. there are 3 bolts that hold the suspension to the frame of the car. get some nice fat ring terminals, undo one of the bolts, route your wire up through the wheel well area to the side rear deck that is closest to your amps, and sand\scrape the paint off and ground it there.

i had a newer SL2 and it worked very well. all you gotta do is remove the rear deck wich takes only a few minutes, and you will see the three bolts on each side of the rear deck. and it should be very easy to route the wires up through the corners of the rear deck from the trunk.

its just that the rear deck that you grounded to is very thin, and there is not much surface area with that bare wire you are trying to attach, eventually it WILL fall off. that would be bad. so crimp some fat *** connectors on that 4 and 0 guage wire and solidly mount them to those strut tower bolts. EVERY car has them and they have always worked great for me.

Looks good so far, just wait about 1-2 weeks for the RSd's to break in then it will sound good, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.
