Car starter saves the day?

I have a car starter for the winter and I am used to always starting my car 5 minutes before I get into it out of habit. While I was checking out at the grocery store I started my car. When I got into it I saw that my head unit had come out like a quarter inch or so. Then I looked down and saw two screws placed neatly in my center console. I looked under my dash and found that is where the screws came from. My only thought is that the thief was in the process of getting the cd player and I started my car, causing him to freak out and run away.

That would have sucked, just had my comps put in a week ago.

I expect ten replies about how I should get an alarm now, and maybe one random person to write SEARCH! for no logical reason.

Should have been, I could have left them unlocked on accident but that doesn't normally happen.

An alarm wouldn't do you any good if you don't arm it.
