inline fuse?

i have a question for all yall out there... if my amp has a fuse built in, then do i need to put an inline fuse in from my amp to my battery?

An inline fuse at the battery keeps your car from going up in smoke if the power wire to the amp somehow shorts out between the amp and the battery.
