inline fuse?

An inline fuse at the battery keeps your car from going up in smoke if the power wire to the amp somehow shorts out between the amp and the battery. it also saves your amp from frying out.

Should be good to go without those fuses. Read the manual that comes with the new stereo. If it doesn’t say to add additional fuses, don’t.

It was a powered 12 inch subwoofer. I don’t remember the exact one. It has been a while.

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...
