inexpensive 12" sub

I am looking for suggestions for an inexpensive 12"sub. I am going to make my own box and really don't know much about car audio. I do know I want a sealed enclosure and am interested in sound quality over sound quantity. I don't need to blow out the windshield. I like to listen to acoustic rock, more mellow alternative. Is it possible to get a nice sub for between 50 and 75 bucks?
