I notice that. I was woundering why i havent heard anything from ppl using there products (RD). I posted the same question on another site but didnt get much of a response from anyone, but the few that posted also recommended going with Incriminator. Dont know why they (RD users) wounldnt just give their experience regardless of what others say.

the DR and alpha are very similar powerhandling wise..

I installed multiple rd woofers..

with 2200 yoyr going to push the DR to its limit..

the dp might be a hair louder but its going to handle the power much better..

the v2 alphas are good woofers, but CS sucks and return time takes forever..

id go with the DR and be conservative with your gain.. or wait a month and get the DP!!!!!

Nick said that it was possible, but its 3 things am trying to find out here. Will the DP be awhole lot louder than the DR placed in each sub optimal size ported box off of say, 1500~1800 watts? Or should I just get a Aplha V2 and call it a day? The DR and Alpha are around the same price with the Alpha having a bit more RMS rating, whereas the DP is $140~$150 more than the previous 2 subs. Will the diifference in output be worth the extra money?

You will cook the DR. You have the power, you will eventually decide to see how far and loud you can get the DR to go. The DP is rated for 1500w and will easily handle all the AQ2200 can dish out. By the time you spend the money to recone the DR you could have been very close to the DP. I agree that the DR would be great if you keep the gains set right for the sub, but we ALL know what happens when you start wanting more.

Not really. I have heard that the IA subs are a bit more musical than the DC Audio, not taking anything away from DC at all. They have got my respect without question. Am looking for something that is both musical (1st) and loud (2nd). I know for a fact that DC is loud, ive heard a pair of 12s lvl 4, but ive never heard any IA sub. Thats why am asking thoughout different forum. Im trying to get different inputs. But this is the only forum that ive been able to get any type of reasonable response. Anyways, what do you think, a DP or a lvl4xl? Which would sound better and get loud. Dont listen to much rap, mostly old style raggae music (King Jammy, etc).
