The kenwood i got is decent its a nice unit but i usto have a 9885 after a whole bunch of other HU's back in the day and i liked that one the best and plus the kenwood is only 2v preamps

That Excelon looks like a very nice unit and i like the usb input in the back exactly what i need but $150 is a little much for me right now considering everything else i gotta get you think itll be there in 2 weeks lol

The 9885 looks like a good unit if the iPod is your thing. They never caught on with me.

I hate apple products and will be using my Android phone for music since i dont feel like burning cds anymore but ive always loved the 9885 since i had that unit in my Nova and it was amazing.

This is the same headunit I have. The only complaint I have with it is the faceplate loses contact every once in a while taking 5 or so

seconds to come back on. Its been in my ride now for 90k miles and never missed a beat, dusty conditions and all there for a while.

I feed it 320 kbps mp3's converted from flac files. The sound is amazing.
