Prefabs dont cost that much more to buy. Found a few tuned in the 30s for 80+

This is what soundqubed has on their website for $140.

side port, not always the best way to get loud. Atrend enclosures fall apart real easy too. Their MDF feels like folded cardboard when you really pick at it. Last atrend enclosure I had when I first started out, died within a month.

They all lie to make a quick buck. Plus they use lowest grade chinese mdf. They fall apart within months. They list specs before counting in the space the subwoofer takes up and they always have sh*t for port area. AKA your subs will always be choking from the small port they use.

Ok, getting some prices from Lowes for the wood and cuts. Maybe I'll get this started today if I can. I also found out that the HDS312 basket is 11.25 which is why it didn't fit in my current box. I butchered the box I have kind of rendering it useless lol. But at least I have a terminal for my new box now lol.

Bought the lumber had it cut, that with supplies cost $37. I didn't buy sand paper though have to grab that.

This box is a disaster. The circle cutting jig i got has no measurement, so i wound up cutting an 11in hole. Need 11.25... What a waste of time and money. Im sotting here trying to dremel the hole larger.

Don't give up. This takes time and is your first box. A lot of successful people thought of quitting right before their breakthrough.

First box is always the hardest for some. Just chill man and keep at it.

Find a cabinet shop and take the plans to them. See what they say to build it.

I regrouped and was able to fix my issue. finishing the box now.
