Hell looks better than what Ive done on my first box build.I had sand mine down for a week to look 1/2 as good..Give that sub about two weeks to really loosen up man![]()
Went a little wild with the screws. Overall, I'd say it sounds good. But doesn't hit as low as I thought it would.
Pic is above your post.Ready to see some pics... Make sure you got good connections power and ground I used electrical grease on all my connections

Thanks, it started out very rocky though. Took all day to do but I definitely learned a lot of valuable lessons if I ever decide to build another one. For starters, I don't need half the amount of screws I used.Hell looks better than what Ive done on my first box build.I had sand mine down for a week to look 1/2 as good..Give that sub about two weeks to really loosen up man
I think you did a hell of a job man.Never hurts to use screws.I have an old box I built for a pair of tens that looks ugly as hell, but still sounds fantastic, and has lasted well over 10 years. Thanks, it started out very rocky though. Took all day to do but I definitely learned a lot of valuable lessons if I ever decide to build another one. For starters, I don't need half the amount of screws I used. Also, the majority of the cuts lowes made were spot on except one, which really threw this thing off by a lot and left a gap in a corner. I sanded and filled with silicone so there are no leaks. I think overall for having no experience in woodworking it came out pretty good.
It took approx two weeks with a pair of tens im running in 4.0@32..a little larger enclosure..but thats about what it took for mine to really loosen up and slamm, and on 1500 rms+Does it really take 2 weeks to break in?
