I'm now a Type R believer.

What specific amplifier? A "claimed" 2300wrms and an "actual" 2300wrms are two totally different things. Did it have the electrical system to even get the rated power out of it?
There is no way in hell a type R is going to handle that much power daily, just no way.

Its just not gonna happen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Not even any since in arguing about it because I have tested them enough times to know what they are capable of. Believe whatever you want to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
wait a second...you're laughing at me becaue you managed to burn a 750wrms rated coil with a 1000w rated amp? you mean like even after impedance rise when you werent seeing anywhere near even the rms rating? and you're laughing at me? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

you act like you're the only one who has ever used a type r.

Before I go though, can you give me a list of all of the equipment.

Alternator? Wiring size? Battery? Amplifier?!?!?!

Cuz your definately not going to get an "actual" 2300wrms of a stock electrical system.

The type ARRGGGHHH boner is still around I see, and people are still riding it as hard as they were a couple years ago.............................

I'm lovin type-r's, just put 2 12" Rs in my friends tiburon, subs back port back in 4.2ft@35hz and it hits like frucking crazy.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I kind of want to try em in my car, but when they're going at full volume, I dont really like the sound of em:crap:

When did I ever state that I burned it up? Because I smelt the coil? hahahaha, to be honest I have never burned one up before, but I can tell what a woofer can handle daily, and I know what it sounds like when the coil is bottoming out and the woofer can not mechanical or thermally handle the power.

Please for the sack of god, get me a video of this magical woofer handling that much power. I will paypal 5 dollars if you can honestly proove to me that a R will handle over 2000wrms..........................

And just so we are clear

Power Handling Capacity (RMS): 500W

You can go back to fairland where type Rs can handle in excess of 2000wrms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
smelling coil means its burning up....

who is riding the type r boner? ive never even owned the sub, i have simply installed it into my buddies ranger and then his explorer and listed to it extensively. since when is this an "opinion" like you said in your other post?

i want to see the 5 dollars first
Im not sure how I can show you 5 dollars that is in my bank account? I would however have to transfer it into paypal that will take 2-3business days //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

the woofer was sold a long *** time ago. my buddy got it to install it in his ranger because he already had a re xxx in the explorer. i guess if you want to see videos though, you can always look up tommyk90's....

the 15 is rated at 750. oh noes. i accidentally posted the rms figure for the 15 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Lets be clear with this.....was it a 15 or 12 that you extensively listened to? I am speaking exclusively about the 12" model since I have never once owned the 15 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

im talking about the 12. i accidentally used the 15" rms figure.

edit: amp was a PA A3000db. "rated" at 2300@ 1 ohm. wouldnt be surprised if it did somewhere along the lines of 1500, which is why i always say we ran a 2300w rated amp. whatever power figures you find online for this test that are honest, is how much power we were sending to the sub.

lawl, your not even worth my time to argue with. LAWL, Ill go borrow my friends 12" R and hook it up to my Kx2500 right now, set the gains at 2300wrms and with my "proper" electical system show you that there is no way in hell it will handle that much power. Not for a single track.........................
