I'm Looking for a Specific Sub, What Do You Suggest?

Hello,

I'm looking to purchase a new subwoofer for ~$200. I want a 12" sub. A few years ago I had one 12" Type-R and it was loud enough for me. I listen to a lot of music -- classic rock, rap, jazz, funk, whatever. I need a sub good enough to feel the bass when I'm listening to rap or a funky bass line. I prefer SQ to SPL, if that would factor into which kind of box to go with and help narrow down your sub recommendations. As much as I loved my Alpine, I want to go with something different this time.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Image Dynamics. Do they still make good subs nowadays? I always wanted an IDQV2 12". If I only want to run one subwoofer, should I go with the 2 Ohm or 4 Ohm?

Good sound quality, and enough excursion capabilities to get funky when you want it to.
