I just got my tax refund back and its dissappearing fast! I need to use it to buy my stuff NOW. I am going to get my very first sub ever, and its for my 300zx (subcompact size). The one I have found is a 15" 4000W Cerwin Vega Stroker. Its brand new in box for $282.85 shipped. I plan to later toggle this with 2 SQ subs for when I want softer stuff, but for now, how will this work for daily listening and IS THIS A GOOD DEAL?

they are sloppy but get loud

the price is ok but you can get a lot better

the new Stroker isn't a bad sub, but for the price you can't beat an HDC3 15"

you could do better and if you are going to compete for SPL I owuld Run L7's on 2k you would get way louder.

The toggle switch is a bad Idea, why dont you get a Fi Q18" and call it a day. With 2k it shoud get loud and sound good enough to listen to daily.

don't get that stroker. like others have said, the Fi Q would do you good, possibly the BL. It's not that the stroker *****, but you can get other stuff that can get good and loud and not sound bad doing so.

If its the old school stroker I would say jump on it, if not, there are better choices, most of them have already been mentioned .
