Im broke because of this build.

High on Bass, calm down. Im not too sure if this design will work out either, but you are making a post every 7 seconds thats 5 paragraphs long. Chill out.
sry^^^ i'm on meds that make me a little jumpy lol. The TABS are the best.!

but i'll call dd. and I'll mention the design. and give them the specs. and i'll not mention the designer. and see what they say. it shouldn't matter who designs the box. its about their product and its capabilities in different designed boxes. they will know if it would work or not.

I'd like to prove my points here. and now.

Steve AND Pete are in this video and you hear this come from the owner of DD& Pete agrees

" A large woofer in a small box is NEVER going to preform "

look around 4:30 and watch on. lol

^^^ just watch the video. and look and see. this is the same guy who " designed his box " lol. just funny. that not only is he putting a large woofer in a small box, but he's putting alot of large woofers in a small box with LOTS of power.

Hey, *****, theres this thing called an edit, you should try it, it would avoid about 80% of your retarded post.

First off, they are talking about woofers with a large motor structure, RE XXX, SS XXX, 9515's, Nightshades, etc etc.

2500 series does not have a large motor structure.

Wait until its done, then talk the shit you want, hell, Ill even make the drive to GA to go to a show you will be at, maybe have some competion? Shouldnt be worried since you know my box will fail right?

lol. dd subs or not. you cant force pressure to go thru a small hole and get higher output. it just doesn't work that way. its simple physics. the bigger the opening the more posibility of higher flow. think of it as in water. with a 1 inch pipe you get x amount of gallons of water per min. you can't get more than its max capabilities. and with a 30 inch pipe you get so much more. and a 1 inch pipe will never come close to a 15 inch pipe. its not capable of it not even with juice lol. the liquid that goes thru it still reacts the same. get what i'm saying?
port size is too small. even for dd subs. infact dd's site says for their 15's around 3 to 4 cubes ported. meaning the 13.6 cubes that he has is only good for 4 maybe 5 subs anyways. and with only 252 square inches of port, its going to ****.

its not enough port volume to allow 8 15 inch woofers to come to life.

you have 1,413 inches of cone area trying to force 23,501 inches of airspace thru 252 inch opening...... sound like a good idea? NO
I have faith that Pete knows a thing or two and not some rinky dink random cad program. There were quite a bit that said my 4th order was way to big but it's amazing for 8 15's on what little power I was throwing at it.

Also this guy at sicnik has a 4th order wall with 9512's and the port is smaller than my head and it seems to do real good numbers along with play music.

Finally, someone who knows what their talking about.

Atleast we can agree on something, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lol. the sic nic build was for 4 12.s and had a port about the same size as half of yours, just 2 inches less tall. it appears to be a 12x12 port. his is a 10x24.... 4 12's on a bigger port and ported chamber ratio than he is going with for 15's.

I tell you what, you drive to ga, and prove me wrong i'll give ya 50 bucks and on video admit im a F*in retard and no one should take me serious. but only if its that impressive.

More pics please. Less fighting haha. I wanna see some progress on this sweet a** build =)

Love the truck. If they dont hear you comin (which they will) they will sure see you. The bright yellow is definitely a head turner.

If there was one person I'd count on to make something sound good, It's Pete, I think his reputation pretty much speaks for itself, It may look small, but I bet when it all comes down to it, this thing will be loud as all hell.

I trust Pete's designs sure, And I think this will be loud, because the fact still remains he will be running 8 15 inch woofers. lol. all I'm saying is this, the port and ported chamber are tiny, and everything about dd is all about decent boxes with decent port. all over their website they tallk about large woofers in small boxes are an instant fail. and he is building just that.

In all honesty i'm not haiting. what i'm doing is making a point, that point being that for the woofers your running the ported chamber is a little too small for your setup. had it been for less drivers, or smaller drivers sure. but not for 15's. and I think that being that this box is a 4th order Bp box, that the port being a huge part of the intregerity of the box and the fact that he has given several ref's to different builds like his, and all of which have larger ports than he is running with less drivers , or Massive ports I dont think this is going to really be " All that it could be"

Thats what I'm getting at. I'm not hating, and as I've stated Many times before, I seriously hope i'm wrong! plain and simple, I hope this works out. because it is a sick system, and even if it was just a simple sealed box, well 8 15's are going to move air.

im just saying the design of the box I don't believe will be what It could be because the box in "Theory" shouldn't work to the full potential of what equipment he has/is running.

^^^that is my point.
