The the trunk was almost completely under, and the front was up higher than the back, there was about an inch before the water went over the hood. [/color]

so then how is it the trunk wasnt completely under if the hood was higher up then the trunk and the hood had an inch left before it was covered with water?

AND U SAID THE ENGINE WAS HIGHER THEN THE TAIL OF THE CAR.. BUT IF U WENT OFF THE EDGE OF THE ROAD OR WHATEVER LIKE U SAID, WOULDNT THE CAR WENT ENGINE FIRST INTO THE WATER?

Yes my shoulder is bruised from hitting the dash.I got out yes. The car was running when i went into the pond. i tried to move, then i killed it, and got out. It was a small pond, i managed to almost get across. im just gonna add one more thing, it twas the nite of a party.

huh??? so you drove your car into a 5 foot deep "pond" and the engine dident manage to get water locked, short out and fry every single electronic device , and to fix it all you did was jump start it, and it drives fine???

your friends car was also USING its intake. his car was more than likely off. well, if it wasnt, i could see it getting ****ed. if he was smart enought o kill the ignition when it the water....it could be possible.

i would hope they drain all the oil and coolant soon.......
