personally, i would go with 2 15" soundsplinter RL-p and 2 Orion1200watt amps, but that might be close to your budget

I'd go with a TC-Sounds TC-3000 15" sub and a Hifonics BXi 1206D (or some other 1000 watt rms amp). Spend the rest on the box/wires/installation.

Just my personal choice.

This is what I would do. Lanzar OPTI4000D to power 1 Boss Audio R8 (make sure dual 4 for .5 ohm stable) in a big ported enclosure about 8-9 cu feet with 100 SQ inches of port tuned to 23-24 hz.

one funky pup 12, one xplod 10, and an audiobahn 15.. that way you have super tight bass, regular bass, and deep bass so it sounds good cause you have all the bases covered. power it all with a good amp.. legacy makes some huge amps.. or boss..

port the 12(80hz), seal the 15, and put the 10 in a bandpass.

this way you can try out a bunch of brands
