If you had $2200 for amps what would you buy?

I'm buying new, not used

Sundown ns2 cost to much.

Already owned crossfire 8ks

DC audio cost to much

So we can forget all those lol even though if I could get a new NS2 for $2200 I'd buy it asap
Find a dealer that gives competitor discount. Could get a pair of M5s new. I could have back in Va

S&I dies a bit more proprietary. DD, IA, Zap
So the same thing but with a slightly different layout. Not like they're doing any actual R&D or trailblazing in Korea.

If you had 2 NS2s arrive DOA do you think you would still be waiting on amps/refund?

(hint: your answer is why Sudown is what it is today)

I'm about to buy a couple more of these Shocker "4K" amps but I'm buying them broken and having them repaired local. What I really don't know about is how I'm going to even feed more than one of them.

look at the size of the class D full ranges coming out of Korea and the power they are making.

I don't like repaired amps. All it takes Is the repair tech to miss something and the amp will fail again, seen it all to many times. There are so many parts in an amp that it's easy to miss something while fixing an amp. But you could have good luck.

lol find me a dealer that will sell two new m5s for $2200

Full range class D has been pretty common for over 10 years now. Korea isn't innovating, just adding more output devices on old technology.

That's why the legit shops warranty their work. One of the ones I'm getting was looked at by Stephen Mantz and definitely only needs MOSFETs and driver card, not sure about the other, but for the price I absolutely can't pass this by.

So how many banks of caps? How many seconds do you figure one bank would feed one amp at full power?
No clue yet. This build is still a long way off from completion. How many banks would you suggest?

I just bought a 1994 Chevy 3500 today for $650 and my cousin's husband drove it home for me. This weekend I'm driving up to my uncle Dave's house to trade some stuff for a 97 single cab, a 350, and 4 speed transmission. Going to be making a rat rod that's as low and fast as possible. I will be buying some of the metal for my steel cage this weekend and some more next week. I'm also wanting to buy a Honda CBR 1000 this winter to I can get it cheaper on the off season.

I just started working again on Tuesday. I can buy any number of caps. I don't have a budget in mind. I just have to save the money up. The more I spend though, the longer it'll take to complete the build, lol. Rent and tuition are covered by my mom, but I'll have two trucks, and a motorcycle (or two) to pay insurance on. Food and gas isn't cheap either.

Time and money are now my limiting factors.

Dam man....buying this buying that.!! Wanna buy me something?!
I say the VP amps too. Too bad they don't got any other colors avail for them.
hes buying this and that with the same money thats refunded from his abuse of warranty systems. hes like the rest of us and isnt some rich kid, just saying

if he would of just worked with taramps he'd have two amps that give him plenty of output
