This. First rule of troubleshooting is to narrow down the problem. Right now you have no idea where your problem is originating, if you connect a different source directly to the amplifier it will lead to one of two outcomes:Option 2.....plug an iPod directly into the amp.....if it works it's your hu.
you say you know but you tried both .. so means you really don't know.RCA's definitely in the right spot, also tried every other spot just in case....
Making assumptions has no place in troubleshooting. Take 5 minutes and do the fucking test, then you will know.@bubbagumper6 ... how could my problem be downstream if I replaced my amp and subs with BRAND NEW versions, and almost every wire too?
Do the ipod check. Hook it up to your amp and see. Maybe there is a bad connection in the box? Preouts on the radio arent turned on...I mean doing the ipod or phone check through your amp will narrow it down right away. Turn your gain up more. I had a hifonics amp one time and the gain had to really be turned up pretty high in my opinion to get ANY sound.@bubbagumper6 ... how could my problem be downstream if I replaced my amp and subs with BRAND NEW versions, and almost every wire too?
