If I buy a SMD DD1 Distortion Detector...

Best way is paypal. What ***** though is that you really need the item returned to you to verify condition and operation. Not saying anyone would damage it, but if you just had them ship to the next person then that would create a horrible situation if it came up damaged or anything.

If you buy a DD-1 you're an idiot. I thought their products were nifty too, until i was told everything the DD1 and the CC1 does can be accomplished with an o-scope and DMM with twice as much flexibility and many, many more features. Not to mention you can actually see the numbers so you can put pen to paper and have numerical results instead of a "oh yeah, it's not distorted, i have no idea how much power my amp is putting out though."

Your PM box is full.

Did you end up getting it and renting it out? Id like to rent it if so. Have a few feedbacks on here, but a ton with heatware.

I do a ton of buying/selling on computer forums all the time, with stuff worth anywhere from a few bucks to $1k or more.

Also, does it work with a factory head unit? Using a audiocontrol LC6i LOC for my amp with a factory HU.

The dd1 is a great product 10 times easier and faster then a oscope and you won't use it just once every time you get a new amp a new deck or processor you will be pulling it out it was nice to find out my pioneer that I had turned up 75 percent can go to 100 percent clean
