So do Christians just believe that as long as you believe in Jesus and that 'he died for your sins' and all that jazz...you can sin as much as you like and go to heaven anyway?

If you're really a Christian you won't like to sin. But yes once you're saved you go to Heaven regardless of how bad you screw up.

If I were christian I'd be looking for a way to die, because heaven sounds pretty sweet imo. Why bother living on earth with all the pesky sinners around lmao.

once again this all goes back to if you TRULY believe. TO answer your question in a nutshell, yes, yes we do.

There are warning texts in the bible, basically, a truly regenerated heart (one which is "saved") would not desire to keep doing all the sinful things they want to, so in effect, this person may not have been saved in the first place.

There will be change in your life, if you give it over to God.

well if you belived it like acually really wholesomely belived in it, then you wouldnt just turn around and go sin as much as u wanted, say you respect you dad, u and him get along great, you wouldnt just go dick around, youd listen to him and do what makes him happy and proud of you, and thats what its like, for me anyway

Wow, you guys ask faster than I can answer.

The point being, that I was trying to make, yes, it is nice to think about getting to heaven, but that is not the point of christianity. The point is to bring glory to God.

Ya know what, I AGREE.

But at the same time, they are just human, you can't blame them for making mistakes, in reality, we are all hypocrites, Christians and non christians.

If you understand the basis of Christianity, you would realize that hypocracy is expected, and the bible "prophesizes" that there will be hypocrites in the church, which basically states, that your statement is only supporting the bible.

I didn't ask for convenience when I became a Christian.
