ideal system

if i were you....

HU $350

components $350

2 channel amp $300

then u can add on some BASS later when u save up. it sucks buying crappy stuff then having to sell it later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

this way you'd still have quality sounds, and can add on later. you'd just miss the bass

If your going to get some subs, then it dependes on if u want a spl or sq subs. but i would get 2 12" in a sealed box to start with, it will give u nice clean bass, and some spl. There are alot of subs to choose from. but here are some good ones

JL Audio 12w6 or 12w3

Kicker L7 12

Rockford He2 or Hx2(splsub)

Infinity Perfects

Alumapro Alcemeys(spelled wrong)

Just a few good ones

For my civic I did the following:

Pioneer 8400 HU - $350

Rockford Power 360.2 Amp - $245

Infinity Perfect 12.1 Sub - $170

Infinity Components (605cs) - $ 120

Rockford Punch 160.2 Amp - $140

This came out ot $1025 and all prices include shipping. It sounds great and I get many compliments. It shouldnt be to hard to put a system together for $1000. You just have to take the time and shop around for the lowest prices. Good Luck!
