hello i am new to this board but i have sold some of these over on eca and diy . These are OEM Image Dynamics mid/midbass drivers. very similar in sound and looks to a cx64. they are 4 ohm will take 150-175 watts with nice detail and extreme impact.

zukiaudio, gentlejax2,and tristan20 have bought these and enjoyed them.

marv was impressed with the impact playing 1 for sub duty in a .20 cu ft box.

I think we are gonna build a 8in cubed box for 4 of these and see how it sounds.

Very beefy and well built each speaker weighs about 5 lbs. shipping is on me though.

$90 shipped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

These mids are awesome. I have them installed on my ProMos-450 in Q-logic kick panels (I know they **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif ) but these mids sound great!. I have mine crossed at 70 hz and 3k hz and they do an awesome job. They have excellent midbass for being in a kick panel too. If I had the room, I'd run another pair. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Grinder, at those xover points, how much power are you giving each mid?

im still building the pods for these but i can wait to run them off 100 watts each. Check out my dakota work log for lots of pics
also will have a highpass at ~80hz with a low pass of 3khz
Man, 4 of those is gonna sound awesome! I've got about 110w running to each of mine, and they get loud and clear, no issues at all.

Do you have them in a sealed baffle or anything, or just sitting in the door.wondering how much air i should give them in their pods to sound good.
The speakers in this pic are my old Profi Vanadium phase plug woofers, but the ID's are installed in the exact same location on each door. The doors are completely sealed up with Dynamat, but that's it. Pretty basic, but they sound great in that setting.

Here is the msg i was going to send in response:

"I Will deff check when i get home. I cant take more pics if you want but what kind of deal can i get off ya if i want 2 sets and throw in the trade?

But let me tell ya, those ID have some nice kick to em at 100 watts each. cant wait to actually run both pairs at the same time in my car."
