hello i am new to this board but i have sold some of these over on eca and diy . These are OEM Image Dynamics mid/midbass drivers. very similar in sound and looks to a cx64. they are 4 ohm will take 150-175 watts with nice detail and extreme impact.

zukiaudio, gentlejax2,and tristan20 have bought these and enjoyed them.

marv was impressed with the impact playing 1 for sub duty in a .20 cu ft box.

I think we are gonna build a 8in cubed box for 4 of these and see how it sounds.

Very beefy and well built each speaker weighs about 5 lbs. shipping is on me though.

Midbass is excellent. I have them crossed at 63Hz and at 2khz. I have crossed them at 4khz and they still sound great. The mid bass output is kick-ass. Here is a pic of my old PG RSD65cs mid compared to the ID OEM mid. PG is on the left, ID on the right. Just look at the size of the magnet on the ID. Its built like a sub.

Whats the mounting size too, and would they work with my ctx crossovers?

I was using the ctx65, but one of the silks got pushed in and distorted....They get loud and clear

Ive had these in for about a month now, and these are a steal at $90 great range and impact, mine are crossed somewhere around 80 and 3k with about 120w each
