that trailor is screwed ..

the gate doesnt bend that way,

Which means you screwed up his entire frame of trailor ..

Mostlikely means he's getting a brand new trailor out of it,

There is the possibility that by hitting the trailor,

You just pushed his hitch into the frame, damaging the frame,

Which is quite the costly repair for his truck ..

Thats looking like 5-10k damage on the lawn truck and trailor alone ..

But yes its obvious she rear ended you, and pushed you into him ..

Uh..any cop or accident investigator with half a brain is going to be able to tell from the skid marks and the damage pretty much exactly what happened. Just tell the truth, and stick to your story and you'll be alright. Just make sure you get a police report citing the woman at fault for the accident. If they wanna get lippy about it, tell them you'll see them in court, and let your insurance company lawyer rip them a new one.

which is exactly what im worried about, the guy in the lawn truck thinks i hit him not pushed into him. and im worried about having to pay for a new trailer and he said he needs a new weed eater and push mower. and then the repair to the front end of the truck. but i didnt see any damage to the truck

Okay since there's so much confusion with all the parties in this accident. Perhaps the situation WAS different than an obvious 'lady hits you, you hit trailor' classic wreck.

MAYBE since you were going through an intersection and the traffic was stopped?

YOU actually hit the trailor first by following to close, and @ the same time the woman, ALSO following too close ran into the back of you seconds after you hit the trailor.

This theory also backs up the woman's explanation saying you were backing up... (because you just hit the trailor).

I just don't see how everyone (even police) in this situation can be so stupid to not realize the lady just ran into u and pushed u forward. Badda bing!
