So you have a legit point. Maybe the Rainbows were better. What really turned me onto these jl's were because the same c5 comes as both the c5-650 and the c5-650x which means I can get the same exact speaker in components and coaxial form. This is ideal in the rear 6.5 hole in the rsx.

i got my polks on here for 90 shipped. dont take what im about to say as an insult cause i definitely dont mean anything by it but do you have knowledge about tuning or do you leave it up to the shop to do it? what i mean is when i first got my polks i gave them 90rms to each side, didnt know much about tuning and i thought they sounded good but nothing special. i then upgraded, gave them 125 to each side and learned a little about tuning and they sound like totally different speakers. ive heard a set of JL's before, dont know what model but i wasnt impressed. i think with some deadening to your door, more power, better tuning youd probably like those polks more than you do now. and in that small of a car your rear fill probably made your front stage sound even worse. only got the fronts in my civic and it sounds great.

I tried different crossover points etc... and believe me that everything is installed perfectly. Its just a matter of tasts. Its not like the polks broke or anything, its just I hated their sound. The amps were reliable too and havent failed me in a year in a half of heavy listening.
