i WAS excited to get my new amp today until i opened it up.

Very nice amp! I owned the same one, but in purple, havent personally seen too many red ones myself, but sound quality is superb, sucks about that burn, send it to andy4879 to get repaired //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

he never offered to get it fixed.

he is throwing up the fact that he said no returns etc. but what he doesnt realize is that the buyer protection was designed so people could not say no returns and at the same time say its 100% working and guaronteed not to be doa and when the customer recieves it and its not working or working properly etc. you cant guarontee something you wont take a return on. its a ploy for people to get alot more money out of broken stuff. he knows as many others that this amp would not have sold for half what it sold for if he was honest and listed problems. who does not look at the internals of their amps? he doesnt seem like a noob in the audio hobby from what i have gathered by looking at his purchases and sold item on ebay and he has an account on ecoustics.

i told him i would not of even bid on it if he didnt say 100% working and guaronteed.

i asked him what does working 100% and guaronteed not doa mean? this is misrepresentation of the item if it is not 100% working which is the case.

yea well i wont have a choice if paypal rules in his favor. shipping would be crazy to do that though. shipping both ways plus the repair.
Send it to ARC. We'll fix it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i will have to wait and see what paypal says first and i dont think i would send it. i would drop it off. would be cheaper than shipping, im only about a 90 minuite drive from akron. but i shouldnt have to do this. i hope i will be shipping it back to the seller. this sucks.

from what i read on this he buys amps from a pawn shop and sells them on ebay. i also gather in the thread that he did not have this amp as of october 2008 because he didnt list it with the amps he owned in a post he made on the thread. i cant believe he wouldnt know something was wrong with this amp.

Well if that is the case, he probably spent like 200 or less on the amp at a pawn shop. A lot of high end audio stuff sometimes shows up at pawn shops and they don't know how much to ask and usually guesstimate.

So not only did he screw you on a bad amp, even if it worked, he just made a hell of a profit off you...........granted that amp would sell for a pretty penny from someone that knew what he was doing.......which this guy did. Sucks mang, but like a few people said, I would have just did a chargeback on the card or contacted your bank ASAP instead of Ebay or paypal. To much shit to go through. Now you will be waiting for sometime.

Good luck!

Oh and it is guaranteed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
