Was wondering if this amp can be ran at .5ohm daily. Also what kinda electrical would i need. hc2400 and batcap 2000 going to be enough to run it at half ohm?

should be, i just had a d5100r and d3400 at 1ohm and never dropped under 13v

with that 200amp alt should be able to, run it at 1ohm full tilt at idle and see what voltage u got then try .5

this is going in my truck, dont have the 200 amp alt in truck. In my truck im just going to have a hc2400 and batcap. But i didnt know if the 2200d was .5ohm stable for daily use. or if it would run on that electrical. reason im asking is cause i see a dc lv4 that i could buy and save a good chunck of money on but its dual 1

pretty sure dual 1s are .7 so thats .35

running stock alt. i dont know exactly what it is though. i might just have to pay the extra money and get the sub new in dual 2...

if u utmost have to run at 0.5 daily... build your box as small as reasonably possible.

whatever the smallest recommended box size is for your subs, build it at that or a hair or two smaller.

the goal is to raise your active load so high that it will always stay above 1 ohm durin gplay so you do not damage the amp.

Otherwise... if you build it too big, you might end up frying somethin.

So ive finally got my box built. Its 2.5 cubes at 35hz. Think i should get the D1 or D2 DC lv4xl? Ive already got the hc2400 and batcap, so thats will be the electrical to power it. So D1 or D2 off the AQ2200d for daily?

btw, whats the output at .5 vs the 2200 at 1 ?

Are you planning on running those 2 L7 15"'s With that aq at .5?

If so, make a vid of the subs when you try it out for the first time.
