is this something i could jump into at a beginner level and get better at? what parts should i get to start off easy? at first this will be more for the fun of building a sub than the actual finished product.
not sure how to match stuffstart off with a drop in recone on a motor, that is easy. Building it from scratch is harder but still not hard, more like 3/10 with 10 being hard
i still wanna get a good start tho over time i think i could get pretty good, not as good as the almighty spl audio tho haha.building custom subs is a 3/10 hard is reallllllly funny. until you do it you have NO clue. there is soooo many thing to come into play so many i dont feel like typing up pages. im not talking bout a drop in kit anybody anybody can glue 1 up.
not deturing i will lend a hand to anybody that is really serious about it. bout anybody can build a sub but to have each sub different and make it louder that stock isnt so ez. it isnt just throwing parts together. wenn, grab a random motor and make it louder than stock how will you go about doing this? build a sub and ship to a customer and rate it at 2500rms and build so tough it wont return cause it broke.
there is a reason not so many people do this...
ill prob pick something up from craigslist im just gonna put an ad up for blown subs and weed out the total junk ones i think there was a blown w6 on therenot saying im better than anybody or you cant do it just that custom building is more than just throwing parts together and thinking its ez like wenn says.
if ur interested in it find a sub with a smaller coil and work off that cause its cheaper...
if one has a decent basket and motor let me know....not the p1s tho, hate those pieces of crap audiobahn is better than p1s lolLol, got two blown p1 10's, a blown audiobahn 12, and two kenwood 12's with I think just broke leads/spiders. People just give me their stuff that dont work and I put it away in storage. I'm just planning on tearing into these and seeing what exactly happened to each one.
