If you're coming strictly from type R's, you could probably get a funky pup and it'd sound good to you.i'm not clear at all sry for all the confusion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
What makes a sub sound better than another one? flatness on freq? anything else? clarity between bass line?
I want a loud lowend 20-40 hz. The rest as flat as possible. I might be going sealed but porting it low would be nice too (hard to choose)
I want the bass to be Wowing like Wow that sound so nice
Like at the beginning of hypnotize from jeezy the first line before "class is session" sound like pure crap on the type R. From youtube cheap quality video it seems like most 18 do that part with strengh. Once it get the the high notes the type Rs rocks but their aren't consistent (oes that word exist in english?)

Seriously though, you dont need a super SQ sub, an HDC3 will sound a hell of a lot better than a type R...and they're built just to get loud.
And //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif nothing in hypnotize goes below like 38hz ish, that's not low bass at all. I don't think you're truly looking for soemthing that hits hard at 20hz...is white girl lows the kinda lows you're looking for?
