How loud can 12s actually get?

I know this will probably get flamed, but will a single 12 do mid 140s on 2000watts in a large trunk car daily, tuned around 32hz? I would be firing it forward into the cabin. I know that there are a lot of variables that come into play, but is this possible at all?

I did it. I had DD9512 Composite cone off of Autotek 2000.1 in trunk of Grand prix. Sub and port facing tailights that metered 145.8, and 146 TL in the kick

My cousin is where you live, he has a btl 12" in his maxima doing mid 140's.

My bud has 3 cheap *** walmart dub 12's and a clif designs 1200 watt amp and hits a 141.8

I did a 142 with a 12" T3 T.S.S on a American Bass 150.1 without tuning it, Just dropped it in a 1996 Pontiac Grand am and that was it... I had it facing forward,.. The box was even tuned to high for the sub, so ya its possible,. I also had stock electrical at the time and a crappy headunit

So its possible. Were any of these done with low tuned boxes? I want the ability to get low and still be loud. I don't really need to do mid 140s, just be loud on the lows.

if u want to get low then keep the tuning around 30-35hz and run a re xxx or mx or something along those lines
