I had 10 cubes in my Chrysler's trunk with more room... amps were mounted in the truck and a false floor covered up the space on the sides.

yea, its all about the opening and how the trunk opens up,i have deep trunk but the opening isnt that wide nor is latch open up that high, so i have to build something i can slide in instead of drop in. So you think theres no way to run 15'' HD3's in there. I could do a solo x 18 firing up and ports back, but i dunno how that would sound.

Well i got prob 5-6 cubes max to work with....a vfl 400.1 and strong electrical...what do i need to hit 150 db's and use for daily. As long as it can play music im happy doenst have to sound great just decent, i want loud. Please let me know what i should do, i have 06 xxx's now and they arent as loud as i thought thye would be but **** do they get low and sound good, but i guess i want spl more the sql

i seen some1 do a 154 on the ac190 mic with 2 mojo max 15's in a 10ft3 ported box with 250 sqaure inch port tuned to 40hz with 2 mojo 4kw's in the back of a mitubishi diamante

How much room do i need minimum for the hd3 15's? IDC if its a 147-150 now, just something that is loud to the ear and all out spl.

To the OP: 150 is very hard to do on music in a trunk

i can do it, Xterra though. and not be in the car at all.

I'd take a 140 at 26hz over a 150 at 60hz ANY DAY. It'll sound louder too.
