Subs amp and box I really like the thousand watt RMS type R's but don't know where to go from there or if that's a good choice 96'Honda civic ex sedan

I found a set of R's with a box for three fifty and a battery for 157 I also seen a 150alt for 200 all on eBay I don't know how good the stuff is but I wanted to get some advice from people that know what they t doing I want to try to get all of the watts to the subs

A good alt could be had for 350 battery at 157 isn't bad. 2 type Rs could be had for around 300-320. Look at Soundqubed those have affordable subs that get loud. If you have what you need to build an enclosure building it yourself will render great results for low cost. PPI Black ice amps are great budget amps I would look into those. And Knukonceptz wire is great and doesn't cost a whole lot.

a pair of sundown sa 12s will sh** on the type Rs when it comes to getting loud. Hell go for some american bass XFL 12s that mylows10 can hook you up with. Add a giant diehard platinum AGM from sears or some agms from sam's club, to the trunk, those are actually really beefy batterys for the price and it'll keep your voltage up high enough. Do the alternator later on. Those yellowtops are overrated, overpriced. Get a soundqubed 2200.1D for your amp or if you want to upgrade later on like running triple 12s if you have the space for it, look for quality 3k rms amp in the classifieds.

high output alternators cost 450-600, you'll have no budget left for anything decent, just beef up your battery bank instead and do the alternator later when you got the funds, but right now you need a system to get bumping so might as well start off in the right place instead of having low budget and buying garbage amps kuz of it.

As for a box, hit up boomsday, one of the members on here, he'll hook you up with a quality custom box shipped to your door for hella cheap.

Ive got 2-12 type rs for $$200 shipping will be about $30 each

I have a eaton powerware batt for $100 + about $50 shipping

I have a alpine mrp-m1000 for $135+ $20 flat rate shipping

I have a dual box but shipping it would hurt you you can pay less to get one built

All together for all this about 575 shipped and you got money left over to buy an alt and box lmk what you think

lol R's were a little expensive, batt. about right.... but this alt you speak of worries me.....my stock alt was 160amp.... see what you got in your car first... 200 for a 50 amp boost is not too good.... and i wouldn't trust ebay with car parts.... I got a 260amp mechman new off CL for 175.00 and I hate craigslist but couldn't pass that up....

Implying OP needs a high output alternator to power a pair of type R's. This is a mess
