but back to the original topic, the op wont get loud in a truck because of the acoustics...i had a 13w7 off 1500 watts and i didnt break 140 legal. sure the 2x18's have more cone area and what not but the set up in his blazer is laughable...and op is a tool for thinking otherwise with his 400watts per sub

Ironically I agree with 06's original assessment of the situation. Upgraded electrical and wiring, and more wattage. There is a lot of air to move in a blazer, and unless he beefs all that up, it's just not gonna happen. He could probably have better results in a king cab truck with the current equipment where there is less air to move, but the electrical portion still needs to get up to snuff.

ope, i forgot to mention it was in a semi dynamat-ed f150 supercrew... the dynamat helped with the roof flex. and i peel-n-sealed the back wall, i know i gotta step up the deadener but fcuk it for now...
